Job summary

Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking a full-time Medical Administrative Assistant in Houston, TX to support infusion therapy patients and caregivers. The role includes rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and coordinating with nursing staff in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a medical office setting, knowledge of medical terminology, and strong customer service. CMA preferred; Epic experience is a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and some college hours, related courses considered.
• At least 2 years experience in medical office with front office duties.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a clinical/physician office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Call patients back for appointments and follow-ups.
• Assist clinical staff as needed.
• Order supplies and help maintain inventory.
• Support general clinic workflow and HIPAA compliance.
