Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Privacy and Security Analyst to lead the development and maintenance of system security plans for a Medicaid Data Warehouse. This role is ideal for a security professional with deep knowledge of NIST frameworks, audit preparation, and third-party risk assessments. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal and state security standards and supporting audit readiness.
System Security Planning & Documentation
* Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) aligned with NIST guidelines.
* Create standard operating procedures, control documentation, and other security-related materials.
Audit Preparation & Support
* Prepare for internal and external audits by gathering documentation, reviewing controls, and addressing gaps.
* Collaborate with auditors and internal teams to provide access, answer questions, and explain control implementations.
* Respond to audit findings with remediation plans and track resolution progress.
Third-Party Risk Management
* Evaluate the security posture of third-party vendors.
* Review vendor policies, procedures, and controls to identify potential risks.
* Communicate concerns and collaborate with vendors to implement improvements.
*Required Qualifications*

* 7+ years of experience in IT security roles, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Expertise in security frameworks including NIST 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
* Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and interpreting vulnerability assessments.
* Strong understanding of network security, application security, vulnerability management, and data protection.
* Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
*Preferred Qualifications*

* Certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
* Experience with MARS-E security guidelines from CMS.
*Pay and Benefits*
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
