Job summary

Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida is seeking an OPS Research Assistant for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position offers an hourly rate of $15.00–$16.00 based on experience and includes background screening requirements.

The role supports the Medicaid Program Integrity unit with administrative tasks, data gathering, documentation control, and collaboration across MPI teams to prevent fraud, abuse, and waste.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service or client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of research and analysis principles.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to organize data and prepare clear reports.
• Understanding of applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Managed Care Unit's daily operations and office functions.
• Gather, prepare, record, and archive confidential correspondence.
• Monitor project and case statuses with MPI units.
• Assist with special projects and reporting as required.
• Maintain files and records in organized, current condition.
