Job summary

The Office of Rate Review within the Alaska Department of Health seeks a Medicaid Program Specialist 2 (PCN 060267) in Anchorage. Qualifications

• Competency-based minimum qualifications emphasizing analytical thinking, problem solving, oral and written communication.
• Ability to support administration of Medicaid/MHI programs and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support administering ORR programs, rate-setting processes, reporting, and implementing federal rule changes
• Primary contact for cross-functional intake, reviewing and analyzing report submissions for compliance
• Facilitate internal and external partner and stakeholder engagement
• Identify issues and develop and implement solutions
• Coordinate regulatory processes, including drafting and submitting materials
