Position Summary
The Medicaid Policy Administrator is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Aetna Medicaid policies and other projects. This person is responsible for facilitating the Aetna Medicaid Policy Committee (AMPC) process for multiple Medicaid markets. This includes:

  • Conducting detailed policy document reviews, as well as editing and proofreading to ensure alignment with AMPC standards and processes.
  • Collaboration with policy stakeholders to maintain compliant policies.
  • Conducting individual and group training sessions.
  • Developing reports, job aids, and researching issues.
  • Meeting business goals by identifying trends and implementing action plans.
  • Recommending, developing, and implementing processes improvements.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in health care administration or compliance.
  • 2+ years of experience in proofreading and editing documents.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Ability to learn systems, such as the CVS Policy & Procedure Portal, Asana, and SharePoint.
  • Previous Medicaid experience.
  • Strong organizational and adaptability skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and train stakeholders on policy processes.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.


Education

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma + 2 years of relevant experience).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
