Job summary

Medcomps Corporation is seeking an experienced Business Analyst 3 to support a major Medicaid system modernization initiative. This role focuses on business analysis, project oversight, requirements management, vendor coordination, UAT, and Agile delivery for enterprise healthcare applications.

The analyst will gather and manage requirements, develop artifacts, coordinate with vendors, and ensure successful delivery within an Agile framework across healthcare systems and HHSC standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience with requirements traceability
• Proven ability to develop test cases and traceability matrices
• Ability to prepare technical and functional specifications
• Strong system analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with solution implementation and deployment activities
• Knowledge of project scope management and UAT
• Experience with system integration and Agile delivery

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and system requirements.
• Develop and review project artifacts including requirements, test cases, traceability matrices, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver project objectives.
• Analyze systems, troubleshoot issues, and support solution implementation.
• Manage project scope, UAT, system integration, and deployment activities.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Analyze HHSC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure alignment with system functionality.
• Assist in creating documentation and standardized processes for integrated Medicaid solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery in an Agile environment.
