Job summary
IBM Consulting in California seeks a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Application Automation to drive automation transformation for Medicaid-related portfolios. Qualifications
- Experience with Medicaid management information systems (MMIS) and healthcareIT environments.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulatory requirements and HIPAA considerations.
- Ability to translate complex Medicaid policies into technical specifications and roadmaps.
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders across clinical, operational, and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Drive automation transformation and identify opportunities using AI/GenAI, RPA, and process/mining tools.
- Serve as primary SME on California Medicaid policies, MMIS, and CAMMIS operating model governance.
- Translate business requirements from DHCS stakeholders into clear technical specs and modernization plans.
- Guide technical teams on Medicaid constraints, data needs, and policy implications while ensuring regulatory compliance.
