Job summary

MedImpact is seeking an experienced GPS Technical Project Manager III to lead IT projects for Government Programs, including Medicaid and CHIP initiatives, from initiation through closing. You will partner with internal/external clients, IT, and enterprise PMOs to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Requirements include a BS/BA with 8+ years’ experience and strong scheduling, vendor management, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP certification is highly desired; familiarity with project management tools and governance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines project objectives and scope; coordinates requirements, design and documentation of solutions.
• Leads vendor selection and onboarding processes.
• Develops project plans with milestones, deliverables, and required tasks.
• Manages risks, status reports, and stakeholder communications throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensures complete project documentation and approvals at each stage.
