Qualifications

• Practical experience in software development, interface design, and systems integration (API-based integration).
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize interface functionality.
• Experience with healthcare data interfaces is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Gather requirements with State IT resources and agency staff to identify Medicaid applications and data sources (mainframe access via State IT).
• Create/maintain the Medicaid Interface Registry for all South Dakota Medicaid applications.
• Write ICDs for interfaces lacking documentation.
• Create the Medicaid Interface Management Plan for governance and maintenance.
• Map data flow between systems and processes, including reporting to partners.
• Review ICDs and data control docs; propose documentation/tool improvements.
• Identify risks in current interfaces and recommend streamlining data sharing.
• Troubleshoot and optimize interface functionality when issues occur.
• Prepare monthly status reports on work and timelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
