Visiting Nurse Health System is seeking an experienced Administrator to manage Medicaid eligibility processes, train staff, and maintain relationships with DFCS districts. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and independent work within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a high school diploma (college degree preferred), strong typing, and proficient computer skills. Previous healthcare experience and reliable transportation are beneficial for success in this on-site

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Two years’ experience in healthcare; preferred.
• Must type 40 wpm with few errors and work independently in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook; strong internet navigation and research skills.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and time-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Submit Medicaid applications timely and per CCSP standards.
• Track Medicaid applications and monitor status across systems (COMPASS/GATEWAY, GAMMIS).
• Conduct phone interviews with clients and DFCS; maintain electronic charts in Harmony/Framework.
• Date stamp Medicaid/DFCS mail; communicate status to staff and clients.
• Provide Medicaid training to new CCSP staff and ongoing training to all CCSP staff.
