Job summary

The ACI Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Team Lead to guide T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAF) projects for a CMS contract.

This remote, contract-to-hire role combines hands-on data analysis with leadership, stakeholder communication, and delivery of clear results to CMS stakeholders and executives. You will mentor analysts, manage data quality issues, coordinate with CMS and other partners, and translate complex findings into concise presentations.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on experience using T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAF) for Medicaid analytics, research, reporting, program evaluation, or related work.
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility/enrollment, claims and/or encounter data.
• Experience addressing TAF/T-MSIS data-quality and usability issues.
• Experience leading complex data analytics activities or teams.
• Strong client/stakeholder-facing experience; CMS experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively with both highly technical teams and senior/executive stakeholders.
• Experience with SQL, SAS, Python, R, or similar analytic tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical and analytic lead for work involving T-MSIS Analytic Files (TAF) and Medicaid administrative data.
• Provide hands-on expertise analyzing, interpreting, and validating TAF data.
• Lead analytic activities and understand dependencies across data, requirements, methodologies, timelines, and deliverables.
• Identify and help resolve TAF/T-MSIS data-quality and usability issues.
• Guide analysts and technical team members and review analytic results for accuracy and appropriate interpretation.
• Work directly with CMS and other stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate issues, and recommend solutions.
• Translate complex data findings and technical issues into clear, concise updates and presentations for executive-level audiences.
