WiredPeople, Inc. seeks an advanced Medicaid Data Analyst to join our public sector health consulting team in Tallahassee, FL. This is a full-time, on-site role with no remote option.

You will transform vast Medicaid and claims data into timely, actionable intelligence, designing dashboards in Power BI or Tableau and presenting findings to leadership and stakeholders. Five+ years in data analysis, strong SQL/SAS, Python, and healthcare data knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Five+ years of professional data analysis experience.
• Strong SQL/SAS and working knowledge of Python.
• Three+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, Medicaid or claims-based data.
• Excellent communication for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Medicaid data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support program evaluation, policy analysis, and decision-making with data insights.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI or Tableau.
• Present findings clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data governance standards.
• Develop data extracts for federal and state reporting, including CMS metrics.
• Create technical documentation for reports, data pipelines, and logic.
• Apply machine learning to forecasting and risk stratification.
• Support special projects, audits, and federal reporting initiatives.
