Title: Medicaid Coordinator
Status: Full Time, 200 days, In-Person

Reports To: Administrator of Program Accountability

Job Goal:
The primary goal is to oversee county-wide participation in the Michigan Medicaid School Services Program (SSP). This position works closely with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and constituent Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Certification :
- High School Diploma or GED required; college degree or credits preferred.
Work Experience :
- Experience with Michigan Medicaid School Services Program (SSSP), preferred.
- Familiarity with IDEA, special education regulations and school-based service delivery, preferred.
- Training for this position will be provided.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit and work on a computer for long periods of time
- Ability to travel across the county and state to participate in meetings and conferences
Terms of Employment: As per master agreement and provisions established by the Van Buren Board of Education.
