Humana is a leading healthcare company seeking a Senior Compliance Professional for Medicaid to ensure strict regulatory adherence. You will evaluate complex issues, perform audits, and guide remediation to strengthen controls across state and federal requirements.

This role is fully remote within the U.S. with occasional travel; compensation includes an annual pay range of $86,300–$118,700, plus eligibility for a bonus plan based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in regulatory law, compliance, audit, or risk management.
• Experience in compliance or managed care.
• Experience with regulatory agencies.
• Ability to analyze regulatory requirements and assess impacts on operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop audit methodology and perform auditing and monitoring activities to prevent and detect noncompliance and guide remedial actions.
• Present findings to business partners and Enterprise Compliance leaders and track issues for remediation.
• Oversee development and progress of issue remediation.
• Review and analyze documents to evidence meeting regulatory requirements.
• Interpret and define regulatory and contract requirements for Humana Departments and external partners.
• Provide ongoing oversight of Medicaid operations to minimize risk.
• Support external audits and coordinate compliance communication with regulators.
• Provide backup to Medicaid Regulatory Compliance team as needed.
