Brooklyn Community Services seeks a Director of Compliance to build and lead a comprehensive program, including a Medicaid compliance framework, policies, and training across programs. The role collaborates with program and admin leaders to implement corrective actions, monitor adherence, and report to the CEO and Board committees.

A hands-on leader, you will establish calendars, tools, and audits to prevent fraud and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, healthcare administration, human services, social work, business, finance, law, compliance, or related field.
• Seven or more years of progressive experience in compliance, auditing, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, risk management, public contracting, or related work.
• Direct experience with New York Medicaid compliance and human-services requirements.
• Experience building compliance systems where processes were incomplete, inconsistent, or absent.
• Strong policy-writing, training, and coordination abilities.
• Ability to travel regularly among BCS program and administrative sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of BCS’s compliance program and Medicaid compliance.
• Develop policies, procedures, tools, training, and tracking systems; review records and conduct audits and investigations.
• Coordinate with program and administrative leaders; escalate issues to the CEO and Board committees.
• Create an annual compliance work plan and risk-based monitoring plan; establish a centralized calendar.
• Maintain an audit-findings tracker and identify systemic concerns for improvements.
• Establish exclusion-screening procedures; oversee provider attestations and annual compliance program reviews.
• Coordinate confidential reporting channels and oversee investigations and corrective actions.
