Outreach Development Corporation in New York is seeking a part-time Client Benefits Associate to manage Medicaid and insurance-related financial information, verify eligibility, and help maximize third-party revenue with a fair fee structure.

You will collect and review financial data, set fees based on income and sliding scale, post payments, and coordinate with insurance specialists and the billing system, supporting both office management and reimbursement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsabilités

• Organizes office flow in an orderly and efficient manner.
• Handles telephone intakes and schedules appointments, rescheduling & confirming as needed.
• Types correspondence, reports, memos, etc. Includes proofreading and editing.
• Records and types minutes from DH meeting and all staff meetings.
• Collects house bills, checks for signatures, copies for unit file and sends originals to accounting.
• Collects time sheets of all staff and faxes bookkeeping as scheduled.
• Establishes and maintains an efficient filing system for Outreach staff.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and re-orders on a timely basis.
• Compiles all information and prepares stats census for monthly OASAS report.
• Maintains and updates client database by entering all pertinent discharge forms.
