Qualifications

What You Will Do at ODM:

Bureau: Eligibility Operations

Classification: Medicaid Health Systems Specialist (PN20097685)

Job Overview:

As a Central Processing Team staff member, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Researching and responding to Legislative & Consumer Inquiries, both in written and verbal form.
  2. Communicating via email and letter with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Supporting eligibility determinations for specified populations.
  4. Liaising with the external central processing team.
  5. Monitoring and responding to policy questions related to presumptive eligibility.
  6. Conducting user acceptance testing for upcoming eligibility system releases and updates.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an undergraduate core program in business administration, social or behavioral science, health, or statistics; plus an additional 24 months of experience specific to the subject area, including 12 months of experience using spreadsheet and database software.
  • Or 24 months of experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Analyst (65291).
  • Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment as noted above, which may be substituted for the experience required.
