Myers and Stauffer LC is seeking an experienced senior auditor to lead Medicaid cost report audits and supervise a team. You will oversee final reviews, coordinate fieldwork, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables in a healthcare reimbursement context.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, QA reviews, and strict confidentiality of protected health information while advancing government health program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of related experience in auditing/healthcare reimbursement.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct Medicaid cost report audits and DSH surveys with final reviews.
• Provide leadership and supervise staff to meet deadlines.
• Assist in delivering project deliverables and manage audit flow.
• Perform QA reviews on working papers and reports.
• Schedule field audit dates with providers and review fieldwork.
• Coordinate staffing on projects to meet deadlines.
• Provide high level technical knowledge and staff training.
• Mentor staff with timely feedback and maintain PHI confidentiality.
