The North Carolina Department of Justice is seeking an Attorney II (NS) to handle Medicaid-related litigation and appeals and to represent the State in superior and appellate courts. The role requires licensure to practice law in NC and at least one year of professional legal experience.

• Licensed to practice law by the North Carolina State Bar and one year of professional legal experience.

Responsabilidades

• Handle litigation and appeals involving Medicaid and public assistance in state courts.
• Serve as attorney for the State in post-conviction matters and related relief.
• Draft legal filings, motions, and exhibits for trial and appellate proceedings.
• Appear before the Office of Administrative Hearings or other administrative tribunals as needed.
