Job summary

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for the Darien Fire/EMS, Sharon Fire & Rescue, and Walworth Fire & Rescue contracts.

Provide medical care and transportation at the EMT level within scope of practice per Wisconsin guidelines. Qualified applicants will hold a Paramedic License, CPR, 21 years old, and a valid Wisconsin driver's license; ACLS/PALS preferred with Metro training.

Qualifications

• Paramedic License required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum 1 year EMT/paramedic experience.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license.
• ACLS/PALS preferred; Metro provides training.
• Successful completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the EMT level.
• Operate within scope of practice per Wisconsin guidelines.
• Support city contracts with fire/EMS departments as assigned.

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc. We contract with local municipalities to provide Emergency Medical Services, Rescue and/or Fire Services. We are currently seeking a part-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Darien Fire/EMS Department, Sharon Fire & Rescue and Walworth Fire & Rescue contract.

The basic function of theParamedic/Firefighter to provide medical care and transportation for a patient at theEMT level, within their scope of practice, as stipulated by Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Paramedic/Firefighter Qualifications:

• Paramedic License
• 1 year experience
• CPR Certified
• 21 Years of age
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's License
• ACLS preferred (Metro will train)
• PALS preferred (Metro will train)
• Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check
