Part‑time, project‑based expert evaluation work
Remote
Contributors will create challenging, terminal‑based media technology tasks used to evaluate advanced AI systems. Relevant specialties include design engineering, design systems, audio engineering, digital signal processing (DSP), music technology, and other computational creative workflows.
Each contributor owns their task end to end: defining a difficult but fair problem within their specialty, creating a reproducible Docker environment, implementing a correct reference solution, and building hidden tests or verifiers that reliably distinguish correct solutions from shortcuts, partial implementations, and plausible‑looking but incorrect results.
This work is intended for creative‑technical specialists who are also strong hands‑on programmers. Contributors must be able to translate design, audio, or media requirements into code and objective evaluation criteria. Purely creative or visual expertise without substantial programming ability is not sufficient.
This is a project‑based consultant role. Consultants will be paid on a per‑project basis; hourly rates are estimates based on anticipated completion time. Consultants control their own schedule, provide their own tools, and may simultaneously provide services to other vendors or employers (subject to those vendors’ allowances).
