CorTech is seeking to hire a Media Specialist for our client in Nashville, TN! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $29.75 / Hour GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identifies news stories or evaluates news leads and develops story ideas that demonstrate Client Healthcare’s leadership in areas such as clinical quality, innovation, sustainability, safety, technology, ethics & compliance, philanthropy, top workplaces, nursing, diversity, equity and inclusion and more.
• Writes blog articles, video scripts, media talking points, social media posts, etc. and develops template media pitches and related background materials for use with national, regional, trade and local media.
• Develops relationships with key subject matter experts throughout Client Healthcare in order to find compelling, newsworthy stories.
• Researches industry news to understand media interest and the latest healthcare trends; finds facts and statistics to provide context for media pitches.
• Serves as a designated writer on various writing projects as needed.
• Assists in the development of related media communications plans and templates to help ensure broadest possible distribution of proactive media content.
• Supports and oversees the conceptualization and development of visual story-telling tools.
• Oversees enterprise social media and blog content calendar.
• Takes a lead role in the preparation of presentation materials, analytic reports and media summaries for executive management.
• Shares story ideas and related content with other members of the Communications Team as well as other communicators within Client Healthcare. OTHER / SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
