Job summary

The Baldwin Group Colleague, Inc. is seeking a Media Relations Specialist to support Insurance Advisory Solutions (IAS).

You will build relationships with reporters covering insurance, risk management, and financial services, turning practice expertise into earned coverage and thought leadership. Collaborate with the IAS Communications Lead and marketing leadership to grow external visibility, source opportunities, prep spokespeople, and manage awards programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with reporters and industry influencers covering insurance, risk management, and financial services.
• Draft press materials including press releases, media alerts, statements, Q&As, and executive bios.
• Coordinate media interview requests end-to-end and prepare briefing materials and talking points.
• Manage annual accolades and awards submissions, calendars, and internal milestone tracking.
• Amplify earned media across LinkedIn and other channels in coordination with the Social Media Manager.
