Join this team, and you’ll collaborate with engineers across Apple to develop architectures, frameworks, and toolchains for hardware accelerators. In this highly visible role, you will be working with cross functional teams in Hardware Technology and Software Engineering to develop key technologies for future Apple products.
In this role you will be developing architectures, frameworks and toolchains for hardware accelerators targeting media applications, including camera, video and display processing. You will collaborate with multiple teams exploring new architectures, algorithms, toolchain and compiler optimizations, while meeting power/performance/area goals for hardware implementations. Responsibilities will include:• Architect flexible hardware accelerators for media applications• Develop automation toolchains for efficient development of accelerators• Develop architectural and performance simulators• Work with cross-functional team to define, architect and implement application specific accelerators
