FOX News Channel is seeking a Media Control Center Operator (Bilingual) to support daily transmission of feeds and monitor distribution platforms across FOX networks. You will interact with Fox Sports, Entertainment, and News to test and deploy new distribution solutions, ensuring high-quality viewer experiences for audiences worldwide.

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and communicate effectively with teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish / English language proficiency required or preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a collaborative team.
• Comfort with rapid decision-making in a dynamic broadcast setting.

Responsibilities

• Media Control Center Tech Operations.
• QA, monitoring, reporting & incident management across all linear, streaming, and digital platforms.
• Perform monitoring and switching of inbound and outbound transmission systems.
• Conduct live transmission signal check-ins with remote production venues during events.
• Troubleshoot and fix signal quality and routing issues per SOPs.
• Set up equipment to receive and distribute feeds to/from the media control center.
• Coordinate with management teams, affiliates, and third parties.

The Media Control Center Operator (Bilingual) is responsible for supporting the daily transmission of hundreds of inbound and outbound feeds and monitoring distribution platforms. The Media Control Center interacts with Fox Sports, Entertainment, and News team to innovate and test new distribution solutions. This role is part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across Fox networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Media Control Center Tech Operations
• Responsible for QA, monitoring, reporting & incident management across all linear, streaming (OTT), and digital platforms
• Perform the monitoring and switching of all inbound and outbound transmission systems
• Perform live transmission signal check-ins with remote production venues during live events
• Help troubleshoot and fix signal quality and routing issues and incidences according to standard operating procedures
• Help set up equipment to receive and distribute feeds to and from the media control center
• Support communication with management teams, affiliates, and other third party or downstream partners
• Collaboration & Partnerships
• Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams
• Partner with Live Media, Consumer Products & Engineering, and other Media Operations teams and step in to help in other areas as needed
• Work closely with all business units and provides world‑class customer service support

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER

• A Bachelor’s Degree is awesome, but not required
• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+ is a plus
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Experience resetting passwords via Active Directory or Okta, resolving login problems, and setting up AWS WorkSpaces

Compensation & Benefits

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $28.75-31.00 per hour.
