Responsibilities

• Manage central media relations and speaker queues for NPR talent, journalists, and executives.
• Oversee the vetting of media inquiries and speaking invitations with routing and approvals.
• Escalate high-risk requests to the Senior Manager and VP, Communications.
• Serve as primary contact point for journalists, event organizers, and external organizations.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for speaking appearances and press interviews.
• Draft briefing materials and backgrounders to support engagements.
