ISD 728 seeks a Media Assistant to support the media center, helping students and staff access resources and facilities and to catalog and circulate digital and print media. The role includes setting up equipment, solving multimedia issues, supervising students, maintaining the library catalog, processing new materials, and generating inventory reports. Starting pay is $22.08 per hour, with details in the master agreement.

Formación

• Experience in media or library settings preferred.
• Comfort with computer hardware and software.
• Ability to learn cataloging rules and library procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist students and staff in using media center resources.
• Set up and troubleshoot computer and multimedia equipment.
• Supervise students in the media center to maintain safety.
• Maintain digital and print catalog records and circulation system.
• Process new media, label materials, and update online catalogs.
• Support ordering, receiving, and processing of media materials.
• Run reports and manage media inventory.
