General Function: Under the direction of the school administration and Library Media Specialist, the Media Assistant provides comprehensive support in the daily operation of the Library Media Center. Responsibilities include checking in and out library resources and school-issued Chromebooks, assisting students and staff with library media equipment, maintaining an orderly media centre environment, and managing end-of-day closing procedures. Additionally, this position serves as the Media Center Copy Aide, responsible for completing printing and copying requests for faculty and staff while ensuring adherence to copyright guidelines and compliance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Wednesday: 11:00 AM � 3:00 PM Thursday & Friday: 8:30 AM � 3:00 PM Hours Note: Work hours are fixed and non-negotiable.

Preferred Qualifications: Technical & Work Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience using Google Workspace (Google Suite) and a background in customer service. Adaptability: Looking for a quick learner capable of efficiently managing a wide variety of daily tasks and responsibilities. Student-Centered Focus: Must have a passion for working with students and a strong commitment to fostering a welcoming, positive, and supportive library atmosphere.
