Job summary

Blue Shield of California Promise Health Plan is seeking an Enrollment and Retention Specialist to educate and assist callers with Medi-Cal enrollment, focusing on eligibility and plan enrollment to meet growth and retention goals.

The role also handles annual Medi-Cal redetermination, advocates with county and state agencies, and supports other growth projects while maintaining strict compliance and documentation under the Growth & Retention Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Requires Spanish bilingual capability.

Responsibilities

• Educate and assist callers with the Medi-Cal enrollment process and eligibility for plan enrollment to achieve new enrollment and member retention goals.
• Assist members with the annual Medi-Cal redetermination process.
• Advocate for callers with internal departments as well as County and State agencies.
• Support other growth projects and ensure adherence to compliance requirements and documentation.
