Job summary

The UPMC Center for Emergency Medicine is seeking a full-time Pilot to support MedEvac 19 in Muncy, PA. The role requires extensive flight hours, PIC helicopter experience, and ongoing compliance with FAA requirements.

Compensation includes a generous sign-on bonus and a commitment period. This position reports to the STAT MedEvac leadership and emphasizes safety, readiness, and teamwork in a high-stress EMS environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial rotorcraft-helicopter certificate with instrument rating.
• Current second-class medical license and valid driver's license.
• Four-year degree in aviation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of the aircraft and regulatory compliance on all flights.
• Maintain currency and training per FAA requirements; coordinate with flight followers.
• Complete post-flight paperwork and maintain flight records.
• Mentor junior pilots and support safety culture.
