Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring a Fixed Wing Pilot in Lubbock, TX to operate King Air 200 aircraft as part of the medical transport team. The schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off and pilots collaborate with medical staff to move patients safely, maintaining aircraft readiness and regulatory compliance.

Minimum qualifications include AMEL, IFR, and substantial flight hours; sign-on and retention bonuses are offered plus relocation assistance and company housing, reflecting a strong

Qualifications

• Commercial AMEL license required.
• Willing to obtain ATP within 5 years.
• Single-pilot IFR experience preferred.
• Provide logbooks showing flight hours and totals.
• Medevac or cargo experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and FAA medical certificate.
• Total flight hours >= 2,500; PIC >= 1,000; cross country 500.
• Night hours >= 100; instrument >= 75 (50 actual).
• High school diploma or GED acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per manuals and FARs.
• Maintain flight records and load manifests accurately.
• Coordinate with dispatch, crews, facilities and partners.
• Communicate shift changes and update change boards.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

Skills

Single pilot IFR experience

Logbooks with hours

Medevac/cargo experience preferred

Driver's license

Education
