Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.

Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, ensure regulatory documentation is up to date, and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners. Requires FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, instrument rating, and Class II medical, plus extensive flight

Qualifications

• Must hold a current rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Must hold a current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours, including 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 helicopter PIC hours, and 500 turbine hours.
• Night unaided hours: 100 hours, or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, including FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following protocol for Med-Trans change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
