Job summary

Med-Trans in Lovington, NM is seeking a HAA Pilot for full-time operation providing medical air transport. Safety is a core pillar as you work with medical teams to move patients.

Requirements include rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate, helicopter instrument rating, Class II Medical, and thousands of flight hours across total, helicopter, PIC, and turbine categories, plus night hours. Pay includes a potential total of up to 210,000 with a pay range of 115,054–126,562 annually and bonus

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Hours Night Unaided, or 50 Hours Unaided with 100 Hours Aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals, FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot and team following change-board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med-Trans requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording Med-Trans change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Pay Range

Pay range potential: $115,054 - $126,562 and bonus eligible
