Job summary

Global Medical Response's Med-Trans is hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transport services. You will work with a team of medical experts to transport patients safely to and from locations and facilities.

Responsibilities include aircraft readiness, FAR and Med-Trans compliance, and thorough documentation. You will coordinate with dispatch and flight crews while maintaining required certifications and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Current rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 helicopter hours.
• 1,000 helicopter PIC hours.
• 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 200 helicopter night flight hours (actual/hood/SIM).
• 200 helicopter instrument hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with medical teams to safely transport patients to and from locations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness per FAR and Med-Trans requirements and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate Med-Trans and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change info to the next pilot and team following the change board protocol.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
