Job summary

Alice Hyde Medical Center, part of University of Vermont Health, is seeking a Laboratory Technologist in Malone, NY. You will plan and oversee laboratory work, perform standard procedures and maintain quality and safety in a patient-centered setting.

Requirements include NYSDOH Clinical Laboratory Technologist license; BS in Medical Technology or related science is preferred. Sign-on bonus and relocation may be offered; benefits eligible.

• BS in Medical Technology or related science preferred.

Job Description:

Plans, organizes and oversees all work in the laboratory section. Performs established clinical laboratory procedures and examinations in laboratory which require exercise of independent judgment. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span of the patient. In addition, applicant must possess the ability to assess patient data relative to age specific needs and provide care as described in policies and procedures.

Education/Skills Required:

• NYSDOH Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required
• BS in Medical Technology or related science preferred

Sign On Bonus & Relocation:

• Candidate may be eligible for a sign on bonus of $5,000. Certain terms and condition apply. UVMH employees are not eligible.
