Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Med Technician to join the nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and social interactions.

You will monitor residents’ comfort and document tasks like daily shift reports and resident records, while communicating urgent needs to the Health Care Director. This role supports holistic care within a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• State certification to pass medications is required.
• Coordinate medication administration for residents.
• Provide daily living assistance and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundry, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
