Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a senior PMO lead to establish governance, processes, and a scalable operating model that drives execution across complex programs. You will guide maturation of PMO capabilities, align initiatives to strategy, and mentor PMO staff while partnering with executives to improve delivery predictability.

You will define portfolio planning, benefits tracking, and optimization of resources in a matrixed organization, leveraging AI and planning tools to accelerate value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (engineering/supply chain/equivalent) and Project Management Certification.
• 10+ years combined Operations/Supply Chain/Engineering (or equivalent).
• 5+ years large-scale program/project management in a matrixed organization.
• 3+ years operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Establish PMO governance, processes, tools, and capabilities to deliver projects/programs and structured work.
• Improve Project Management capability maturity; partner with executive/functional leaders to drive execution discipline, delivery predictability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure PMO work adds value, aligns to organizational strategy, and meets executive PMO goals.
• Develop PMO mission/vision and operating model (PMO charter); define PMO roles, team configuration, and recruiting.
• Implement project management processes/methods/tools/standards; lead portfolio planning/prioritization.
• Define/manage end-to-end PMO work, including benefits identification, quantification, and tracking.
• Provide coaching/mentoring to PMO staff; advise senior stakeholders; drive PPM best-practice improvements.
• Assess portfolio performance using metrics; ensure strategic alignment via prioritization, capacity management, and key result tracking.
