Job summary

Yorktown Assisted Living is hiring a Med Tech (RMA) to assist with daily medication administration for residents in a memory care setting. You will maintain medication programs, documentations, and storage, while ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role involves supervising home health aides, supporting doctor visits and pharmacy runs, and contributing to residents’ daily living activities. Prior CMA/First Aid/CPR may be required by state and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous work history as a medication technician (1 year).
• US work authorization (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily administration of medication to residents (assisted living/memory care).
• Maintain resident medication programs and documentation, including medication distribution, ordering and reception, file management, and storage.
• Complete required incident reports as needed.
• Provide supervision to the home health aides.
• Enhance the lives of older adults by assisting with doctor’s appointments, pharmacies, and daily living activities.
• Exhibit ethical behavior and work cooperatively with other team members in daily support of residents.
• Receive on-the-job training and discover opportunities for career growth and advancement.
• Must have Certified Medication Aide, First Aid and/or CPR certifications, if required by state.
