Job summary

Century Park Associates seeks a dedicated Medication Technician (QMAP) to support resident wellness by administering medicines and promoting comfort and independence in a senior care setting.

Must have a Tennessee CMA/QMAP certification and a TN CNA active status, with CPR certification either on hire or within 90 days. Evening full‑time shifts available, with a sign‑on bonus of $1,500 paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification. Certification must remain current during employment.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately reports med errors or missing medications.
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan.
• Promotes resident independence in accordance with the service plan.
• Complies with infection control guidelines.
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic counts.
• Documents medication administration in the EHR per policy.
• Participates in community activities and encourages resident participation.
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents.

You'll play a vital role in supporting resident wellness, administering medications as prescribed, and providing exceptional service that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence.

Your name must be on the Tennessee Certified Medication Aide Registry, and you must be a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) as keeping your CNA active is required to maintain your CMA.

Receive a $1,500 Sign-On Bonus! We're excited to welcome qualified Medication Technicians to our team. New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid as follows:

• $500 at 30 days
• $500 at 6 months
• $500 at 9 months

Available Schedules:

• Full-Time Evening Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (rotation schedule with every other weekend)

Position Summary

TheCertified Medication Technician (Qualified Medication Administration Personnel/QMAP)delivers quality assisted living services focused on maximizing resident’s individual capabilities in accordance with all laws, regulations and Century Park standards. Reports to Resident Care Director (or Assistant Resident Care Director).

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have current Med Tech or QMAP certification. Certification must remain current during employment.
• One (1) year experience in senior services preferred
• Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain within 90 days of hire. Certification must remain current during employment

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery
• Immediately reports med errors, or missing medications
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan
• Promotes resident independence in accordance with service plan
• Compliant with all infection control guidelines
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count
• Documents medication administration in EHR (electronic health record) per policy
• Participates in community Lifestyles activities, events and outings, and encourages residents to attend
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents

• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action

• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Century Park’s Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training
