Job summary

Pinewood Square in Goose Creek, SC is seeking Part-Time Certified Medication Technicians to support medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community.

Minimum 1 year experience in senior housing with knowledge of DPH regulations. Position requires every other weekend scheduling. Tapcheck payroll integration is available for instant wage access.

Qualifications

• Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required

• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and obtains continuing education required by state regulations.
• Demonstrates the ability to remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported to the supervisor.
• Work schedules and assigned tasks follow community policies and procedures.
• Operates equipment safely and within training.
• Infection control precautions and practices are utilized.
• Demonstrates knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
