Job summary

La Conner Retirement Inn is seeking caring, patient staff to assist residents with daily activities and personal care in a supportive team environment. You will work with healthcare staff to monitor residents' conditions and maintain essential daily records, while promoting comfort and independence for our seniors.

Applicants should be at least 18, with strong organizational and English communication skills, and a compassionate attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have good organizational abilities, and communication skills, be independent, energetic, creative, and have a pleasant approach.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Compassionate, patient, and kind with a heart for working with senior adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Communicate with other healthcare staff and relay information concerning resident’s condition; maintain written records and documentation as required.
• Maintain communication with residents, their families, support personnel, etc., to assure that residents' needs are continually met.
• Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations; maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident with regard to medicines ordered, received, and administered.
