1 hour outside of Beckley, WV (Only QUALIFIED Healthcare Professionals accepted)

Medical Technologist - A 100-bed medical center (with inpatient and outpatient care, emergency services, surgical services, and diagnostic services) is looking for a Med Tech (MT) or a Medical Lab Technician (MLT). There are two openings: one EVENING shift and one NIGHT shift. This is an amazing opportunity to work at a well-established and high-performing facility that has a great impact on the surrounding community.

Job description:

1. Prepares specimens for microscope examination.
2. Operates laboratory equipment including centrifuges, dry bath incubators, and blood bank refrigerators.
3. Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision.
4. Insures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited college or university.
2. At least 1 year of full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
