Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking Med Aide (Med Tech) to support residents in Emerald Valley. You will administer medications and assist with daily living activities while communicating with families, physicians, and staff to ensure well‑being.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork with clinical staff, and the ability to handle flexible hours including evenings and weekends to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• US work authorization is required
• Experience caring for elderly residents, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Compassionate individuals with flexibility to perform varied duties

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and implementation of individualized service plans
• Administer treatments and document medications in MAR; record PRN outcomes and any missed doses
• Respond to calls/concerns from family members and physicians
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
• Help maintain high quality of life and consistent care for residents
• Collaborate with clinical team to address residents' needs promptly
• Support Cascade Living's mission, values and beliefs

As a Med Aide (Med Tech) you’re responsible for administering medications and assisting residents in a variety of ways to support their individual treatment plans. Your ability to identify, diagnose and communicate concerns with not only residents, but with their families, physicians and staff is vital when it comes to ensuring that our residents are thriving.

What Cascade Living and Emerald Valley look for in a Med Aide (Med Tech):

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques and methods applied to resident care

• Previous experience working with the elderly, specifically those with Alzheimer's or other dementia related conditions

• Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time

• Compassionate individuals with the flexibility to perform various duties

• Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day

• Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families

• Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Med Aide (Med Tech) for Emerald Valley:

• Contribute information vital to the development and implementation of customized service plans

• Administration of treatment plans and chart medications in Medication Administration Record, document results of PRN medications and record any missed medications

• Answer and respond to calls/concerns from family members and physicians as directed.

• Willingness to assist in resident activities of daily living

• Make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency

• Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter

• Promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living

Required Qualifications:

• US work authorization (Required)

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

$18.50 - $20.50/hour
*Depending on Experience

Job Type:

• Full Time & Part Time

• Day/Swing Shift Openings every day of the week

• NOC Shift: Friday - Saturday

• Weekend Availability Required
