Job summary

Solera Senior Living in Reston, VA is seeking a compassionate Medication Technician (RMA/Med Tech) to support resident health needs and ensure safety and quality of care.

In this role you will administer medications, monitor vital signs, document accurately, and coordinate with nursing leadership, home health, hospice, and emergency services. A team-oriented environment and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• State-required Medication Technician (RMA/Med Tech) training and certification.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with physician orders and state regulations.
• Measure and document vital signs and weight.
• Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
• Follow medication room systems and safety procedures per policy.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and emergency protocols as needed.
• Supervise resident care team members to ensure completion of assigned duties when acting as shift lead.
