The Country Home Memory Care in Morris Plains, NJ is seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to administer medications to residents under supervision of licensed nursing staff. You will ensure timely dosing and accurate documentation in the EHR while adhering to state regulations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, MT certification, and at least 1 year of healthcare experience; strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a Medication Technician or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year healthcare or caregiving experience preferred.
• Experience with medication administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents following physician orders and policies.
• Document medication administration in the EHR or required formats.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report concerns.
• Safely store, handle, and dispose of medications per regulations.
• Assist with ADLs and provide resident care as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate care.
