Job summary

Radiant Senior Living in Woodburn, OR is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist residents with daily activities and personal care. You will work with a friendly team to maintain safety, dignity, and comfort for seniors, while documenting care and coordinating with other staff.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, eating, medications per protocol, and maintaining MARs/TARs; building trust with residents and families; and engaging in ongoing training for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and kind; heart for working with seniors.
• Good organizational and communication skills; able to work independently.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene.
• Communicate with other healthcare staff; relay resident condition; maintain written records.
• Maintain communications with residents and families to ensure needs are met.
• Assist with administration of medications according to protocol and regulations; maintain MARs/TARs.

The Difference You Will Make

• Assist residents with cleaning, bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene
• Communicate with other healthcare staff and department personnel; relay information concerning resident's condition; maintain written records and documentation as required
• Maintain communication with the residents, their families, support personnel, etc., to assure that the residents' needs are continually met.
• Assist residents with the administration of medications according to company protocol and state regulations
• Maintain records (MARs/TARs) for each resident with regard to medicines ordered, received, and administered
