Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Med Tech to administer medications, monitor residents, and maintain accurate medication records in a compassionate, family-like environment. The role supports resident care activities and requires strong communication with families and the care team.

• Certified Med Tech (CMT) certification required.
• Prior experience in a similar nursing home or assisted living role preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
• Maintain accurate and complete medication administration records.
• Assist with resident care activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
