Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elizabethtown, PA is hiring a Med Tech to administer medications and support residents with daily care. You’ll monitor for adverse effects, maintain accurate MARs, and communicate with residents, families, and the health care team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and a Certified Med Tech (CMT) credential. Prior nursing home or assisted living experience is preferred; candidates should be caring, detail-oriented and physically fit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Med Tech (CMT) certification required.
• Experience in a nursing home or assisted living setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
• Maintain accurate and complete medication administration records.
• Assist with resident care activities as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
