Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team at Collier's at Tamarac. As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. This position is ideal for an individual who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to improving the lives of others.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility procedures and healthcare regulations.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the medical staff.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration, including dosages and times.
• Assist with daily living activities and provide support to residents as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training to remain current on best practices and policies.
• In between med passes, you will also provide care/ADLs, showers etc.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medication Technician (requirements may vary by state).
• Experience in an assisted living or healthcare facility is preferred.
