MercyOne Medical Group in Mason City, IA is seeking a Medical Technologist/MLS to join our daytime laboratory team. This full-time, day-shift role performs a range of laboratory tests with accuracy, adheres to CLIA standards, and provides dependable results to support patient care.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science required.
MLS/MT (ASCP) registry required or completed within two years of hire.
Previous experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

Performs laboratory testing with accuracy and verifies results using QC and instrumentation.
Records quality control results and maintains equipment with proper records.
Operates lab computer systems and supports CLIA high complexity testing requirements.
Sets up cultures, gram stains, and rapid kit testing in Microbiology.
Maintains inventory of supplies and participates in procedure evaluations.
